trying to learn flash by creating/building a game is extremely difficult - most games require a
solid knowledge of graphics, animation and actionscript. There are books devoted entirely to this
topic. hard to type out all there is to know from the ground up - the basics of flash are in the
help docs (F1) and from there, flash is a blank canvas - anything can be built any number of ways.
There is not set way of creating a game - all games are different and each one could be built in a
myriad ways.
How will the game work? how many graphics are needed and how complex? how much interactivity will be
involved? will there need to be any backend (database) involvement?
In terms of getting started - there's are countless tutorials all over the web that will help get
you started:
www.keyframer.com
www.gotoandlearn.com
www.kirupa.com
there are hundreds more but those will get you started on your way to learning flash - but the game
itself is it's own mountain to overcome. Start with a detailed plan with pencil and paper and be as
detailed as possible.
without anything more specific, that's about all i can offer at the moment.
hope this helps get you started.
