Using custom icons (all different) in tree component

hi all,

I am working with tree components in MX-2004. I want to have different icons
in the leaves. I wonder whether it is possible or not? For example : I'm making
a family tree - I want to denote a male with a different icon and a female with
a different icon (only in the leaf node). If someone knows, please help me.

I believe you should be able to do this using the Tree function :
tree_instance.setIcon(node, iconID) ..where iconID equates to it's linkage ID
I'm guessing what you could do is that when you create the node for the
person, based on their gender, use the above method call to attach the
corresponding icon.Text
