Post subject: IE autoplays even if play parameter set to false
Archived from groups: macromedia>flash (more info?)

On many systems (XP or Vista) with IE6/7 installed, a Flash file will play
even if with <parameter="play" value="false">. This is true whether
embedding the file directly or using a JavaScript mehtod like SWFObject. Why
is this (why only some systems), and is there a solution?
