Hello, I am doing an animation that involves a rotating movieclip. I tweened
the motion between the original and a 15 degree rotation. I chose 50 frames at
the maximum rate. The problem is when the animation loops it creates a jerky
movement as it resets to it's original position. Is there a way to get rid of
that jerk?

Thanks for any help.

J

I should add that I am trying to simulate a full 360 degree of rotation of the
object. The object is an impeller which is the business end of a centrifugal
pump. There are 5 blades on the impeller and a small rotation puts one blade in
front of another making the impeller seem to rotate continuously except when
the movement resets itself where I get the jerk

the 'jerk' is happening because you have one more frame than is necessary.
when you've rotated 15 degrees, and then set back to 0, basically your doubling
two frames, the one at 15 and at 0. to remedy, if you are rotating over 50
frames, the increment of rotation is 0.3 so on the 50th keyframe reduce the
rotation amount by 0.3, from 15 to 14.7

there you go Smile
