I'm trying to use the polygon lasso tool to trace the roof of a building.
Every time I complete (close) the tracing shape it automatically rounds a
couple of the corners instead of leaving them at the angles they should be.
The corners it is rounding seem to be very slight angles as opposed to the rest
which are closer to 90 degree angles.

Is there a smoothing or snapping aspect of the polygon lasso tool that I need
to turn off and if so how, or is something else happening here?

Thanks for any help!

I am having trouble with the polygon lasso tool also. I can not get the tool
to close a polygon. It ends up with a stray line from the shape, and I must
change tools quickly. Most of the time the polygon doesn't take, so I try
again. Eventually somehow the shape is established, but I can't be confident
it will work each time I open it. I have CS3 and the lasso works in PS just
fine. Any suggestions?
