I can easily import layers from a PSD file into Flash. This is wonderful. But
how can I make modifications to the original file in Photoshop and have it
reflect or update in Flash? This is super simple using Premiere Pro along with
Photoshop. But with Flash, I'm stumped. How do I update layers without having
to re-imort them? Thank you to anyone who can help!:confused;

In the library, select the psd file, right-click, and click Update from the drop menu. Then click update, and Flash will look for the file, and re-import it with any changes.

When I saw your reply I was very excited to try out the UPDATE method. Even
though I'd already tried that before. But once again, nothing came of it. I
right clicked on the layer that FLASH imported from PHOTOSHOP, as a flattened
Bitmap image, selected UPDATE from the dropdown and my layer appeared alone in
a window titled 'Update Library Items'. There was a 'tick' beside the layer I
had selected to update. I then clicked UPDATE again and the 'tick' changed to a
'?' mark. I click UPDATE again and nothing changes and then I click close and
have failed once again, forced to RE-import my layer and delete the old one
from the Library. Any idea what has gone wrong?

One more thing to note, rritchey, is that when the Update Library Items window appears. The PATH to my PSD file does not show. Nothing appears under the PATH heading. Only under the NAME heading.
