At first they simply started developing or buying (even worst) and distributing
application in direct competitions with applications developed using Macromedia
authoring tools (ex. Breeze). Further more they keep taking developers off some
tools like system controls capabilities used in Breeze but not available to
external Developers.
Now with Flash Player 8, stand alone projectors or compiled with third party
software like Flash Studio Pro cannot access Local Flash Player Settings so
that in fact it is impossible to develop and efficiently distribute our own
applications.
I give up, I cannot keep fighting with them. If they don't want developers to
develop using Flash they finally achieved their goal with me and I hope with
many other developers. I am now looking into C# for developing video streaming
applications so that I wont be dealing with Macromedia security bullshit any
longer.
