Is there a way to make a swf file that can be used for every flv file I upload?
(So if there's a weird video format, I can convert it straight to flv instead
of to mov and then flash)

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Check out "loading external video into flash" on google. Im sure you'll find something.
You can load different videos into the same swf.
Cheers
