Flash MX will not launch after updating to 7.2

After updating Flash MX 2004 to version 7.2 I cannot launch Flash.

I get the following error message: Failed running MLM process. Maybe MLM
activationlog.txt file has more info.

I have installed the 7.2 reactivation patch. I also tried uninstalling Flash
MX 2004 but get the following error message: "An installation support file
[path to my temp folder] setup.inx could not be installed. The system cannot
find the file specified." I tried re-installing Flash MX 2004 but still get
the same message when trying to launch it and when trying to uninstall.

Any help with resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
