Hello,
I downloaded the Flash 8 demo and it's crashing before it fully starts up.
I'm running it on a Mac Mini (1GB ram, running off of external firewire drive).
Below are the crash details. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I REALLY
want to use Flash on my Mac (instead of my old PC). Thank you!

I can't help you really, just wanted to say that I too run Flash 8 on a Mac
Mini with 1 GB ram, and with os x Tiger, with no problems what so ever, so it
"should" work. Have you tried re-installing it?

I am having exactly the same problem with the full version. After a clean
install of the OS and updates (new HD) I reinstalled the studio apps,
everything runs EXCEPT Flash, and it gives me an error report that is
identical. I have tried contacting support, but gotten no reply. As this has
crippled me for work, I'm getting pretty mad about it. Sad

I am experiencing exactly the same problem with the same crash log.
I installed Flash 8 on a brand new MacBook Pro 17 with OS X 10.4.6.
It worked fine until I was forced to reinstall the OS. Apple tech support
determined that some installed application was causing the 200604 security
update to fail, corrupting the OS.
So I dutifully reinstalled everything. Now Flash 8 doesn't work, failing
exactly as described above (and apparently all over the internet). I have tried
the Flash OSX Upgrade patch without success. I have submitted more than one bug
report to Adobe. And their attitude toward their customers is pathetic. They
didn't even extend me the courtesy of a response. I have to admit that my
customer service experience with Macromedia was several orders of magnitude
better.

As luck would have it, this failure has prevented me from selling my employer
(one of the world's biggest online travel sites) on the idea of migrating from
DHTML to Flash for our next generation rich user interface.

Well done Adobe. Great marketing.

I am having similar problems on every export of a Flash file. No solution to find anywhere.
