Does Flash MX 2004 use activation software that writes to track 0 of the hard
drive?

There are forum entries that say that this is so.

Also Adobe site says that there is no need to reactivate with a regular drive
format.
But if you do a "low-level" you will need to reactivate.
Why would a "low-level" format cause you to have to reactivate if the
activation software is not altering the "low-level" of the hard drive?
